Biography
Bruce “Biff” Warren has practiced law in the Niwot-Gunbarrel Community since 1975 after graduating from the University of Nebraska College of Law, with distinction. He earned a BA in political science at the University of Nebraska, with distinction, and also obtained a teaching certificate in political science. He opened a law office in Niwot in June, 1975, which later became Warren Moore Rutherford, LLP.
Mr. Warren is currently active in many community and civic organizations, including the Niwot Cultural Arts Association (President), the Niwot Business Association (past President), the Left Hand Valley Courier (Managing Editor), the Niwot Future League, the Tree Carving Committee, the Rock & Rails Summer Concert Series (Co-Manager) and Niwot Baseball, Inc. (Secretary).
Mr. Warren served on the Niwot Local Improvement District Advisory Committee (past Chair) for 14 years, the Boulder County Planning Commission for 7 years (past Vice-Chair), and served on the board of Niwot Youth Sports, Inc., (past president) for 25 years, which named the Biff Warren Baseball Complex in his honor in 2001. He has also served on the boards of the Niwot High School Education Foundation (past Secretary), the Niwot Community Association (past Secretary), and the Niwot United Methodist Church (Council Chair). He is a member of the Colorado and Boulder County Bar Associations, and received the first Public Service Award for Boulder County from the Colorado Bar Association in 1993, and the John Marshall Award in 2009. In addition, he is the founder and coordinator of the Niwot Community Semi-Marching Free Grange Band, and has served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Niwot High School since 2002 after serving as an Assistant Softball Coach at Niwot High for 4 years.
