Bruce Warren and Tom Moore are experienced mediators and arbitrators, providing dispute resolution services to parties in an effort to avoid the expense and uncertainty of a trial. Mediation is a process where the attorney acts as an independent, neutral facilitator, to help the parties identify the issues and attempt to find common ground to reach a resolution. Arbitration is a process where the attorney acts as a private judge, conducting a hearing where testimony and evidence is presented. The arbitrator makes a ruling which the parties agree to accept as binding. In both cases, the attorney cannot and does not offer legal advice to the parties. Arbitration is usually much quicker and less expensive than going to trial. Once we identify and explore the issues, if we determine that mediation is not likely to be successful, we will advise the parties and terminate the mediation. If the parties are able to reach a resolution, we will reduce it to writing in a form to be presented to the court.
