Mr. Warren has practiced law in the Niwot Community since 1975, where he established an office after graduating from the University of Nebraska College of Law. His practice includes:

In addition, he donates time to Boulder County Legal Services. He has given seminars on Estate Planning and Non-Profit organizations, and has been a guest lecturer at the University of Colorado. He is a past committee chair of the Boulder County Bar Association, and has served on the Boulder County Planning Commission from 1994 to 2000. In 1993 Mr. Warren was the first recipient of the Colorado Bar Association, Boulder County Public Service Award. In 2009, Mr. Warren received the John Marshall Award from the Boulder County Bar Association for pro bono public service.
