VICKI M. MAURER
Paralegal and Office Manager
Vicki Maurer joined the firm on a full-time basis in 1982 after serving as a student intern since 1980. She is a Niwot High School graduate, has been certified as an Accredited Legal Secretary, and is a former member of the local chapter of the Colorado Association of Legal Support Staff.
Ms. Maurer is active in the community and in 1994 was named Woman of the Year by the Longmont Chapter of the American Business Women's Association and currently serves as its president. She presently serves on the Business Advisory Committee for the St. Vrain Valley School District. She is a past Secretary/Treasurer of Niwot Youth Sports, Inc., and is a staff member and part owner of the Left Hand Valley Courier.
NANCY D. MERCER
Legal Secretary
Nancy Mercer has been with the firm since 1996. She began working as a legal secretary when her children started school. She has a degree from the University of South Florida in Arts and Sciences. Her previous work experience is in banking and real estate. She enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Katie A. Rose
Student Intern 2010 - 2012
Katie Rose is a Junior at Niwot High School and joined the firm in August 2010. She is in the International Baccalaureate program at Niwot High, is co-Captain of Public Speaking on the Forensics team and is co-editor of the Yearbook. She qualified as a finalist in the State Forensics program this year. She has received a letter in Academics and has participated in Girl Scouts for the past 12 years.
Meg M. Thornbury
Student Intern 2010 - 2012
Meg Thornbury is a Junior at Niwot High School and joined the firm in August 2010. She is in the International Baccalaureate program at Niwot High, participates on the Forensics team and is on the Golf team. She has received letters in both Academics and Golf. Ms. Thornbury won the 19th Annual State Shakespeare Competition.
